I am now blogging at Childfree African.
I was educated in the East and the West, beginning with kindergarten in Japan and, earning my Bachelor’s degree in history at Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI; and a Master’s in peace studies from the University of Bradford in Bradford, England.
My writing has appeared in publications including NPR, The Guardian, and The Atlantic. I have also written and edited for organizations and individuals, including the International Crisis Group, the Institute for Security Studies, Akilah.net, Microsoft, and Manobi.
Currently, I am a communications and research consultant at the United Nations Research Institute for Social Development in Geneva.
